Alzheimer’s Association: Purple Gala & Walk to End Alz
The 2017 Alzheimer’s Association Purple Gala was held this past May at The Depot downtown Minneapolis. Official numbers of the amount of money that was raised during the event have been released. The Gala on May 6th raised more than $860,000 and brought together more than 870 guests. A great turnout for the 25th anniversary of the event – it was the largest gala in attendance yet.
English Rose Suites & b♦home Home Care, a Silver Sponsor for this years’ event, are grateful to have been a part of this event year after year. English Rose Suites & b♦home Home Care have attended the Purple Gala for over 20 years and each year we are amazed by how much money can be raised when people come together for a great cause.
“The Gala brings great honor to the Alzheimer’s Association and individuals with dementia. It is an evening to celebrate all that the Association and our community has done and raise money for education, Alzheimer’s care, support and research,” said Vicki Martini, English Rose Suites & b♦home Home Care VP of Operations & Marketing.
