Vice President of Operations and Marketing

Vicki’s depth and breadth of experience in senior care makes her a natural leader in guiding and supporting the daily operations of English Rose Suites and bhome Home Care. “Working in so many roles over the years has been the biggest benefit to my career today,” Vicki says. “It gives me a passionate perspective on what will be best for our residents and clients.”

In 2002, Vicki relocated from Rochester, Minnesota, to join English Rose Suites as Administrator and was promoted to Vice President of Operations in 2011. “The staff are the heart of English Rose Suites and bhome Home Care.”

Vicki values the hands-on aspect of working for a small business and having a pulse on what’s happening at English Rose Suites as well as the bhome Home Care clients each day. Vicki’s direct approach regarding care, caregiver team building, open communication and strong family communication, along with leadership guidance, are felt throughout the organization. “My philosophy is that you can never communicate too much,” Vicki says. “I enjoy assisting the team to look ahead and work together to determine the best path for an individual. I love that it’s not a job; I’m on 24/7, and every one of us is so devoted to our residents and clients.”

Vicki is also heavily involved in networking in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area to share English Rose Suites and bhome Home Care’s unique care approach.

Prior to English Rose Suites and b•home Home Care, Vicki worked for eight years in a variety of positions at Karrington/Sunrise Senior Living in Rochester, Minnesota, as a caregiver, Cottage Director, Director of Community Relations and finally as the Executive Director. Vicki gained vital experience with aging, dementia and Alzheimer’s, as well as in creating a positive, healthy, nurturing work environment. Her belief in networking and community support created strong partnerships with local health care providers, county social services and the Mayo Clinic.

Vicki has also led support groups through the Alzheimer’s Association. She enjoys spending time with her family and golden retriever, snowshoeing, walking and being outdoors.
