A Big Thank You!
English Rose Suites and b♦home Home Care would like to take a moment to sincerely thank and acknowledge those who have donated their time and talent to help sew protective face masks for our Staff as well as those donated to other Residential Care Homes.
A BIG thank you to Cathy Clairmont who generously donated her time to help cut fabric for over 500 masks. Thank you to Avis Benson, friend of our Scheduling Coordinator, Kathy Ericksen, who generously donated her precious time to sew many masks. Another thank you to Andrea Salisbury, neighbor of Katie Rinehimer, Quality of Life Director, who also donated her time to sew masks for English Rose Suites and b♦home Home Care. We also want to thank Jayne Clairmont’s college friend for finding sewing angels in the Nokomis Lakes neighborhood. Those masks were donated to Residential Care memory environments.
“People have a true gift. The ability to know how to sew and using that talent to help is amazing. We truly appreciate everyone who has donated their time and effort to help protect our Residents and Staff at English Rose Suites and b♦home Home Care,” said Jayne Clairmont
With the shortage of personal protective equipment at an all-time high, senior housing, including Residential Care Homes like English Rose Suites have been in desperate need for these masks. English Rose Suites and b♦home Home Care is beyond grateful to all of those that donated mask and precious time to sew masks for our Staff.
Katie Rinehimer, Quality of Life Director, mentioned how the need has grown beyond health care as school districts who provide meals for children and essential worker childcare workers are pleading for mask donations to protect their workers and children.
If you know how to sew or know someone who does, a great resource for mask pattern can be found here.
