English Rose Suites and b♦home Home Care had the honor to attend and sponsor the 2018 Alzheimer’s Association 26th Annual Purple Gala. Each year we are amazed at the amount of money raised when people come together for an amazing cause – especially this year.
The Purple Gala was held downtown Minneapolis on Saturday, May 5th. It was a night to get together to not only raise money for Alzheimer’s awareness, but to bring support and awareness to those living with Dementia. This year there was more than 850 people in attendance at the Depot downtown Minneapolis. It is a beautiful thing when people come together for a wonderful cause. This year marked a milestone for the Alzheimer’s Association Minnesota-North Dakota Purple Gala. For the first time in history, The Purple Gala raised over $1 Million dollars in donations and both silent and live auctions.
Ian Leonard, Fox 9 Meteorologist was the Master of Ceremonies of the evening with many speakers and entertainment full of inspiration to us all.
“What an evening it was to celebrate all that the Alzheimer’s Association Minnesota-North Dakota and our community has done to raise money for education, Alzheimer’s care, support and research. It is such an honor to be a part of this event year after year,” said Vicki Martini, Vice President of Operations and Marketing, English Rose Suites and b♦home Home Care.
English Rose Suites and b♦home Home Care has been a part of the Purple Gala for more than 20 years. We always look forward to this event every year. We are already counting down until next year; let’s break that record again! Are you saving the date for the 2019 Purple Gala on May 4th, 2019? We are!
