Keeping the Spirit Alive – The Conference for Caregivers

English Rose is pleased to announce that we are a proud sponsor of the upcoming Keeping the Spirit Alive conference for caregivers supporting a loved one with dementia that will be offered virtually on Sunday, May 2, 2021, 9 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. The bi-annual conference, hosted by Jewish Family and Children’s Service of Minneapolis and Jewish Family Service of St. Paul, is free and open to the public. It is designed to support caregivers and to let them know that they are not alone in this journey.

This year’s conference will feature keynote speaker Jackie Wiechman, who will share her personal journey in caring for her dad, Alan—diagnosed at age 71 with early-onset Alzheimer’s disease, while raising a young family of her own. There will also be 12 break-out sessions to choose from, with topics including: Powerful Tools For Caregivers, The Doctor Is In: Q/A, Making Peace with Change and Uncertainty, and Planning for End-of-Life Conversations.
