Virtual Alzheimer’s Foundation Conference for Minnesotans on March 16th

The Alzheimer’s Foundation of American will host a free virtual Alzheimer’s conference for Minnesotans on Tuesday, March 16 from 10:00 am – 12:30 pm, as part of its 2021 national Educating American Tour. 

Participants can learn from, and ask questions of, health, caregiving, and legal experts.

This year’s presentations include: 

    • How Mindfulness Can Help Family Caregivers – Angela Lunde M.A., Co-director for the Outreach, Recruitment, and Engagement Core, Alzheimer’s Disease Center at Mayo Clinic
    • Planning in a Crisis, which focuses on estate planning and medical assistance plans – Hannon T. Ford, Certified Elder Law Attorney (CELA), National Elder Law Foundation and Founding Attorney, The Ford Law Office, LLC, Windom, MN
    • It’s Not That Simple-Helping Families Navigate the Alzheimer’s Journey – Pam Ostrowski, CEO/President, Alzheimer’s Family Consulting, LLC, Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP), Certified Dementia Care (CDC), Author of It’s Not That Simple – Helping Families Navigate the Alzheimer’s Journey

The conference will conclude with a performance by Giving Voice Chorus.
