Mia Lee

DIRECTOR OF HOME CARE

Mia Lee, English Rose Suites
763-299-5102

With over 30 years of experience in healthcare, Mia brings a wealth of expertise and compassion to her role as Director of English Rose Homecare. Her caregiving career started by providing many months of one-on-one care to a 93-year-old man living with Lewy Body Disease, a form of dementia. The experience was transformative, “I knew then that this is what I wanted to do forever. Help people live the best life they can in the comfort of their own home.”

Mia has a deep understanding of the importance of identifying with each person’s unique needs, and then tailoring assistant to not just make their lives easier, but also more joyful. Mia’s most cherished moments with clients are often the simplest: holding a hand, listening to their life stories, sharing a smile, or brightening their day in meaningful ways. She believes these small, heartfelt connections are at the core of exceptional caregiving.

“What sets English Rose Homecare apart,” Mia explains, “is the care we take in selecting who gets to join our team, and our commitment to truly getting to know our clients. This allows us to match people with the right caregivers so that we provide the support they need, as well as the personalities that will bring warmth and special moments of connection to brighten our client’s days and ease their challenges.”

Outside of work, Mia enjoys baking, exploring her newfound love for pickleball, and—most of all—creating treasured memories with her grandchildren.

Zach Parlier

DEMENTIA EDUCATOR

Zach Parlier - Dementia and Memory Care Expert in Minneapolis MN. English Rose Suites

By age 14, Zach was dedicating much of his free time to being his grandfather’s companion and caregiver, helping him navigate through Alzheimer’s disease. This early experience sparked Zach’s lifelong passion for caring for older adults, rooted in the love, security, and wellbeing his family provided in their home.

Zach’s caregiving journey continued as nursing home CNA before bringing all his skills and compassion to English Rose. He is inspired by English Rose’s commitment to building genuine client relationships. “Fostering relationships leads to trust,” Zach shares. “Trust opens the door to love, and love is the secret ingredient of exceptional care.”

Those who know Zach describe him as an old soul with a positive attitude, a ready smile, and a natural ability to connect. He listens closely and intuitively understands the needs of clients and their families. A memory that guides him is of time spent with a woman living with dementia who found comfort simply by having Zach sit beside her while she knitted—a reminder of the profound impact of small, meaningful moments.

While his knitting skills are mediocre, his baking skills are legendary. Zach won the 2011 Blue Ribbon at the Goodhue County Fair for his chocolate chip cookies. Outside of work, he enjoys playing guitar, reading, and taking long walks.

Louise Schoenberger

STRATEGIC GROWTH MANAGER

Louise Shoenberger, English Rose. Minneapolis MN
763-260-5040

Louise’s excitement and inspiration for joining the English Rose team stems from her own caregiving journey with loved ones. As part of the “sandwich generation” that has to balance the needs of parents and children simultaneously, Louise recognizes the invaluable shift that occurs when trained, compassionate, and responsive caregivers step in, enabling families to focus on quality time rather than on the demands of caregiving. This experience motivated Louise to pivot her career, aligning her passions with a mission to help other families discover the benefits of setting up the right support system that will enhance the lives of seniors and their loved ones.

With a natural talent for building relationships, a love of learning, and vibrant personality, Louise was the perfect fit for the role of Strategic Growth Manager at English Rose. Known for her warmth, inclusivity, and positivity, she is a trusted resource for families navigating home healthcare decisions and supporting their parents’ needs at every stage. Though not in a direct caregiving role, Louise insisted on completing the same rigorous training as all English Rose caregivers, gaining an even deeper appreciation for the dedication and excellence that define the English Rose experience. Louise would be glad to meet with you at your convenience to begin exploring the myriad options for homecare through English Rose.

Outside of work, Louise enjoys spending time with her family, power walking, and participating in group fitness classes with fellow exercise enthusiasts.
